MEET THE OWNER
熊田 有香子
Yukako Kumata
幼少期をイギリスと香港で過ごし、日本語と英語の双方に精通したグローバルな感性を持つ。早稲田大学国際教養学部卒業後、青山フラワーマーケットにて店長を務め、ロンドン店での勤務も経験。
「もっとお客様一人ひとりと丁寧に向き合いたい」という思いからフリーランスのフラワーデザイナーとして独立。
法人やウェディングの装飾を多数手掛ける。
そして2025年10月、生まれ育った目白に『BEAR & BLOOM』をオープン。
I spent my childhood in the UK and Hong Kong, which helped me develop a global sensibility and become fully bilingual in Japanese and English. After graduating from Waseda University’s School of International Liberal Studies, I built my career at Aoyama Flower Market, where I served as a shop manager and gained valuable experience working at the London branch.
Driven by a desire to work more closely with each client, I transitioned to a freelance flower designer. During this time, I worked on numerous corporate displays and wedding decorations.
My journey led me back to my roots in Mejiro, where I grew up. In October 2025, I opened BEAR & BLOOM—a space dedicated to the belief that every flower, and every customer, deserves my full, undivided attention.

お花の仕入れは市場まで必ず自分の足を運び、
目で見て、手で触れる。
基準は、私自身が心からときめくか、
そして品質が確かであるか。
時には、なかなか出会えない珍しい品種を織り交ぜながら、
その時期旬の花々を店内に連れて帰ります。
I make it a point to go to the market myself to handpick every stem. I only bring home flowers that I truly fall in love with and that meet high standards for quality. Along with rare finds you won't see elsewhere, I fill the shop with the very best blooms each season has to offer.

大切にしているのは、
無理に形を整えるのではなく、
それぞれの花が持つ本来の曲線や向きを活かすこと。
まるでそこに自生しているかのような、
自然な流れを意識してデザインしています。
My philosophy is not to force flowers into a shape, but to embrace their natural curves and direction. I design with a focus on flow, arranging each bloom as if it were still growing wildly in nature.
